Scholastic Book Fair and Bingo Night - THANK YOU!!!
the evening. Overall, LOTS of happy smiling faces and great fun for all. This past Thursday’s Book Fair and Bingo Night was the best yet! We had a new space for our book fair, great prizes for our bingo winners, beautiful shiny new Atkinson All Star water bottles, and the 5th Grade’s pizza, popcorn and water sales! We would like to thank Barbara Talbot, Adele Gaulocher, Michelle Roche, Paula McKenna, Judy Rohn and Marcy Wood for coordinating each of these efforts. This was no small task with the book fair running from February 25th through March 5th. You all did an amazing job!!! We would also like to thank all of the volunteers (parents/guardians, 5th Graders, students, and Middle Schoolers!) who participated in the full week’s Book Fair and/or the Books and Bingo Night and/or 5th Grade “Pizza” Sales. Without all of you the week of book fair and this evening would not have been successful. Your dedication and generosity on behalf of the Atkinson students is priceless and greatly appreciated. Finally, we’d like to thank all our families for your support. The proceeds generated will go towards technology assistance, library, library, additional classroom assistance, and support future PTO events. Without your generosity and participation none of this would be possible. Volunteerism and Participation are 2 very priceless commodities. They not only help to sustain the efforts and events of the PTO, but they show the value you have in your children’s education and our Atkinson community. Thank you all very much!
