    • On October 23rd we had our monthly RAISE assembly in which we formally introduced School Resource Officer Cara Caffrey to the students and staff at Sargent School.  The Assembly focused on RESPECT. Officer Caffrey was part of a skit that the 4th and 5th graders performed.   They answered questions about what Respect looks like and why it is so important.  It was also the inaugural performance of 23 staff members, also known as  the “RAISE ‘EM Up Dancers" who gave a rousing dance routine in true Aretha Franklin style asking for a little... "R-E-S-P-E-C-T!" It was a fun event for all!

Our RAISE Assembly on November 3rd was special treat students and staff. During the assembly, local artist Rob Surette focused his Art performance on ACHIEVEMENT.  His unique painting show was a wonderful example for all of the kids and staff to learn about perseverance and hard work being factors in true Achievement.  It was an  “electric” event for all! This event wonderful event was sponsored by our very generous Sargent School PTO and NASEC.

We continue to do our Friday morning "SHOUT OUTS" recognizing behaviors that reflect RAISE.

The 20th Year Birthday celebrated Sargent School and the completion of our three year Playground build! We also thanked the many people that contributed to our success. Their "Service" to Sargent School was celebrated.  Our RAISE Assembly was outside with our new Playground as center stage! We were excited to have the NAHS Choral group and the drum line join us as well!
