Welcome to the North Andover School Health Services web site, your resource for up-to-date information about health services in the North Andover public schools. The school nurse is present in your child’s school to be a liaison between home and school regarding health concerns, to serve as a health resource for you and your child and to provide high quality nursing care in each school.

Health Advisory Council
The Health Advisory council of the North Andover School District is a volunteer organization whose mission is to evaluate and monitor current health issues and advise the school administration on health policy. The goal is to raise the awareness of students' physical, nutritional and emotional needs which will empower them to make and promote life long health behaviors. Committee members include school administrators, school nurses, food service director, parents of students in the school district, health educators, physical educators, and the school physician.
Body Mass Index screening program
In accordance with the Mass Dept. of Public Health, schools are required to perform height and weight measurements for students in grade 1,4,7 & 10. Parents/guardians may waive this screening by submitting a written request to the school nurse
