GRADES 9-12

Overview

The Wellness program at North Andover High School provides a comprehensive health/fitness education, rooted in the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework. Embedded in this framework are the National Health Education Standards which were developed to establish, promote and support health-enhancing behaviors for students in all grade levels, and the National Standards for Physical Education which stress that the goal of physical education is to develop physically educated individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity. Physical activity is critical to the development and maintenance of good health.
