FOLLETT eBOOKS and DIGITAL AUDIOBOOKS

Our Follett collection provides access to popular fiction and nonfiction eBooks and Digital Audiobooks, including a number of suggested books and authors from the NAMS Summer Reading Lists.


Follett eBooks and Digital Audiobooks can be used on the following devices:

  • Downloaded and read offline:
    • iOS 8+ devices (iPad, iPod touch, iPhone)
    • Android 4.4+ devices (tablet, smartphone, Nook HD, Nook HD+, Kindle Fire HD [2nd generation or newer] or Kindle Fire HDX [2nd generation or newer])

  • Online through a browser (mobile):

    • Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD [1st generation] with Android 4.4+

    • Nook Tablet or Nook HD with Android 4.4+

    • Windows 8 Tablet, Windows 8RT Tablet or Windows 8 Smartphone

    • Chromebook

    • Windows or Mac Computer

To use one of the Follett Shelf eBooks or Digital Audiobooks, please follow the instructions below for the device that you want to use.

11/30/16 Update: The Brytewave K-12 app has been replaced by the Destiny Discover app.


Up to two eBooks / Digital Audiobooks can be checked out at a time, for two weeks. If you need more time to read/listen to an eBook / Digital Audiobook, please follow the instructions to check it out (and download, if applicable) again.
