Free Home Delivery of Meals while NAPS is Remote 1/4-1/8

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Department of Nutrition will offer home delivery of meals while all NAPS students are fully remote learning from January 04, 2021 through January 08, 2021. Deliveries will be made to the address noted on this email, weather permitting. Please check our Facebook page, North Andover School Lunch Program regarding any updates regarding deliveries. If you would like home delivery, someone must be home to accept the delivery. Food service employees will not get out of their car for safety reasons. We will call the telephone number that is on file when we arrive.

Any orders previously placed in our online ordering system, LINQ, prior to this email have been deleted. If you would like home delivery, NAPS students will need to preorder their meals (lunch) and select home delivery as the pick up location. Please select HOME DELIVERY as the pick up location. Any meals ordered that do not have HOME DELIVERY selected will not be prepared. Please pay close attention to the updated fully remote lunch menus on our website, www.northandoverpublicschools.com. There is a glitch in the LINQ program where it doesn't delete previously posted menu items. We will only fulfill orders that coincide with the fully remote menus posted on our website. Only lunch menus need preorders. Students will receive a daily breakfast item of our choice with their lunch orders.

Please note that our online preorder program, LINQ, is to be used by students who are typically in person only. Full time OLA students should continue to follow the OLA menu and preorders are not required.

As a reminder, the USDA has approved a waiver to provide free meals for all students through June 2021, All North Andover students will receive their meals at no cost through the end of the school year. 

If you have not done so already, please register for an online meal order account at onlineordering.linq.com. Families must register for an account to be able to preorder meals. Please have your students ID number handy while registering. Your student's ID can be found in PowerSchool.

Please note that preorders must be completed by 6:00 a.m. for same day service while students are fully remote.

Our meal distribution line will remain open at NAHS, Monday through Friday, of this week from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, we have added a meal distribution line on Wednesday night this week from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Families may pick up a week's worth of food from our Wednesday night meal distribution line. Weekly meal pickup registration is recommended. Information regarding weekly registration can be found on the Food Services section of this website.

Dietary Accommodations
We will make every effort to provide dietary accommodations for all students. Currently, it has been extremely difficult to procure gluten free product. When GF items are available for order, they will be added to the menus. If you wish to make a dietary accommodation for your student, please contact your kitchen manager directly at:
