Franklin Flyer
Franklin Flyer Newsletter

The Franklin Flyer is Franklin School's very own student-written newspaper.  The Franklin School PTO pays for the printing of the Franklin Flyer, and parents donate their time and materials to run the Journalism Club, so that the club is open to any interested 3rd, 4th or 5th grade at the Franklin School completely free of charge.  The goal of the Journalism Club is to give students an additional opportunity for writing about things that matter to them and to challenge them to try new things, such as photography and illustrating.  The club course plan is also available free of charge to any parents or teacher (nationally) interested in starting a Journalism Club.

Franklin School 4th grade teacher Abby Gilbert and Franklin parent Amy Moeller currently run the after-school Journalism Club and help produce the Franklin Flyer for 6 years and 14 issues.  Back issues of the newspaper are archived below.

Materials for the 2011-12 academic year are donated by Merrimack College's School of Education. Thank You!
