The Massachusetts of Elementary and Secondary Education has released results from the spring 2009 administration of the MCAS tests. The results of these tests are used in determining Adequate Yearly Progress status for schools and districts in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released its 2009 Adequate Yearly Progress [AYP] results under the No Child Left Behind [NCLB] testing program. Despite the significant rise this year in State Performance Targets in both English Language Arts and Mathematics, North Andover students continue to perform well on the state tests. 2009 ACT Scores PDF Print E-mail
The American College Testing Program has release the 2009 ACT scores for North Andover. A five-year high of 72 students at North Andover High School took the ACT test in 2009. Results show significant improvement in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science.
