| NAMS Got Talent |
| NAMS Got Talent tickets will go on sale during student lunches on Tuesday May 27th. Tickets are $5 or $4 with a food item. To honor the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to One Fund Boston. All food donations will go to help out our friends at Bread and Roses. NAMS Got Talent is going to take place on Thursday June 6th starting at 6PM in the auditorium. Please feel free to contact Mr. Richard should you have any questions. |

| Found items in Office |
| There are several small "found" items in the office. If your child has lost a pair of glasses, a piece of jewelery or a cell phone, please ask them to stop by the office to describe it. |

| 8th Grade Activities Packet |
| 8th graders will be bringing home the packet today, April 29, 2013. Packets should be completed and returned no later than Friday, May 10, 2013. Please note that both permission slips need to be returned completed. For those wishing to obtain additional information, a meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7 in the NAMS Library at 6:15pm prior to the Joint Speaker Series. Feel free to contact any committee member listed on the attached paperwork with any questions.

| 8th Grade Panoramic Picture Day-April 25, 2013 |
| Hockmeyer will be at NAMS on April 25, 2013 to take the group panoramic picture during 1st period. Order forms will come home with students this week. Please note that there is no retake for this picture so absent or tardy students will not appear in the photo. |

| Summer Robotics at NAHS August 12-23 |
There will be two sessions offered and students can register for either session one, session two, or both. Robotics is open to any student entering grades 8-12.
Current high school students who complete both sessions can earn 2.5 credits.

| NAMS now offering Kids Stop to 7th Graders! |
| The Kids Stop after school program located at the North Andover middle school currently has openings! Middle School students will have the opportunity to attend a safe, nurturing environment where they can complete homework assignments, participate in a variety of games and activities or just hang with their friends! The program operates Monday - Fridays 2:20 - 6:00PM in accordance with the school calendar. |

| Used Shoe Recycling Program |
| Recycling old shoes.... All that back to school shopping leave you with unwanted sneakers, shoes, sandals, cleats and boots at home???
There is a permanent recycling bin in the Symmes Lobby. Instead of throwing old footwear in the trash, think about recycling them. We are recycling the shoes through TerraCycle. |

| BREAKFAST AT NAMS |
| Breakfast will be available in the cafe beginning Monday Sept. 19th . It will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 am. Students may use their P.O.S. accounts to pay or cash. Anyone who receives free lunch may received breakfast; reduced breakfast cost is .30. The menu choices are: Cereal w/milk, fresh fruit or juice $2; Muffin w/milk, fresh fruit or juice $2. |

| A map detailing the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedure at NAMS can be downloaded using the above link. Please note that students will be crossing traffic in the Drop-off / Pick-up zones and that you should proceed with caution through these areas. |

| Policy Regarding Motor Vehicle Idling |
