North Andover Middle School provides outstanding opportunities for our children. With your help, we can fulfill our plans for this school year.
Fundraising happens early in the school year because the money raised is put right to use for the current year to benefit all of our students. PTAC’s two main fundraisers are the Magazine Drive and Direct Donation Campaign. Our proposed budget this year includes:
· Nearly $7,000 in school support that goes to every teaching team, each related arts program, and the library to provide the many extras not covered in the school budget
· $8,000 to the N. Andover Schools Enrichment Council to bring a variety of special programs throughout the year to NAMS
· $5,000 for the After Hours program offered at no cost to students participating
· $1,600 for the upcoming 6th grade play , as well as the 7th & 8th grade musical in the spring
· $3,000 to purchase agenda books for every student
· Memorable year-end activities planned as a special farewell for 8th graders
· Staff appreciation events like the Holiday Brunch coming in December and Staff Appreciation week in May
· $1,400 for the Academic Bowl and Destination Imagination teams
