The North Andover Middle School Parent Teacher Advisory Council, Inc. 

NAMS PTAC is the parent and teacher group at the Middle School in which all parents and staff members are encouraged to participate.  The main purpose of the PTAC is to facilitate a connection and promote communication between our children’s school and their home.  Each year, PTAC strives to enhance the Middle School with funding and support for many programs and activities.  PTAC also sponsors social events throughout the year to bring the Middle School community together.   PTAC meetings are held bi-monthly. All are welcome to attend.

Dear Parents and Friends of North Andover Middle School:

This fall the Middle School PTAC will again be conducting our annual magazine drive.  We have used this program for more than ten years as our only fundraiser because it offers you an opportunity to purchase your magazine subscriptions through our school at a competitive price.  The Middle School earns forty-three cents of every dollar you spend which is used to help finance enrichment programs, school plays, agenda books for each student, team and grade level funds, and much more. Our fundraising is done early in the year so the money earned can be put right to use to benefit our school and students.

The success of the program depends on your participation.  You may order new magazines or renew magazines you may already receive.  Renewal orders through the school will simply extend your current subscription, regardless of its expiration date.  Please remember to avoid the temptation of renewing your subscriptions through the mail!!!!!  As you know, the publishers can get very aggressive attempting to have you renew directly from them rather than through the school.  Start saving your renewal information now (by saving the address labels on each of the magazine subscriptions that you now have) for the drive which will kick-off soon after school starts in September.
