Math: extra help Thursday 5/16, Monday 5/20, Tuesday 5/21

Social Studies:  Create a Chapter Summary on ONE side of ONE 3 x 5 card.  I don't know whether oyu will be ble to use it on Monday's test, but ... it's a great skill to help you reveiw what is most important and to determine what you need to study most. Chapter 12 Unit test on Monday, May 20, focusing on learning goals 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. If you think you might need more than class time to complete the test, make plans to complete it Monday (only) after school.

As we move through the remainder of the year and the units on the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, expect at least one quiz each week. Next after school time is Thursday, May 23. 

LA: 1. Read/finish book group book. 2. Answer book questions and *4321 - due Wed. 2. Vocab quiz retakes Wed, 5/22 after school

*4321 - 4 lines of summary, 3 interesting vocab words (copy sentences and page #), 2 interesting/important quotes (& p. #) and explain why you chose them, 1 connection

Extra help tomorrow after school; be sure to have all of your notebook pages completed.  As we move through the remainder of the year and the units on the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, expect at least one quiz each week.

German: For those students interested in taking a retake, they must turn in by Thursday, May 2 a letter explaining 1) why they did not attend extra practice sessions prior to the test and 2) what they did (or did not do) to prepare for the test and why they think it was not effective.  They must also write if they are staying after school on Friday or Monday for extra practice and/or the retake.  This letter must be signed by a parent.  Once they turn in this letter, I will give them a number of worksheets to complete in preparation for the retake so that they can work on mastering the concepts of this unit. These worksheets must be completed in order to qualify for the retake.
