A+ Bonus Bucks Stop & Shop Program FAQ’s & Stats PDF Print E-mail

What It Is

With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase where the Stop & Shop Card is used. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Stop & Shop the home delivery service.

(Register your S&S card on the PeaPod site under "My Account – Retailer Card" and designate a school at the program website:

At the end of each month, these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards (excluding store brand gift cards), pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)

www.stopandshop.com/aplus )

How It Works

A+ BonusBucks are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month,

Q: What are Extra Credit Items?

A: Extra Credit Items are specially marked throughout our

stores that earn your school 50 Extra Points.

Q: How does it work?

A: If a shopper has $100 worth of groceries, but no Extra

Credit Items, the order is scanned with the STOP &

SHOP CARD and the shopper earns 100 A+BONUS

BUCKS Points for their registered school. But, if the

shopper has 6 Extra Credit items included in the order

worth $100, the shopper earns 400 A+BONUS BUCKS

Points (100 for the price of the order plus 50 for each of

the six extra Credit Items, totaling 300 Extra Credit

Points).

Q: How do these points convert into cash for my

school?

A: At the end of each month, all the points that your

parents earned including Extra Credit go into your

school’s account. Then we take each school’s total

points and divide by the total points earned by all

registered schools and multiply by the monthly award

giveaway. That means the more Extra Credit you buy,

the more points your school earns. And the more

points your school earns, the more CASH your school

will receive monthly.

As of 11/09/09 : Sargent has 64 registered customer cards and has estimated earnings of $144.28

each school's dollar amount is determined which is then automatically credited to its account.
