PRESIDENT'S NOTES
Please join us during our new morning hours for PTO meetings beginning tomorrow January 6th at 9:15 AM  in the cafeteria.  Coffee will be served.  Younger siblings are welcome.  In addition our February 3rd and March 3rd meetings will also take place at 9:15 AM in the cafeteria.
 
Please look for information for Knight Lights a fabulous town wide fundraiser for the Enrichment Council.

Happy New Year!  We are going to “slam dunk” our Fundraising with the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Sale – 40% Profits go to Sargent, and it addition sports equipment will be donated.  The orders of frozen, preformed Cookie Dough containers will be delivered right before February Vacation – great fun and convenience for the entire family!  Check the backpacks today for Catalogs.  Yum!

Curriculum Day at CoCo Key Indoor Water Resort in Danvers, MA! Don’t get left out in the cold! Tickets on sale NOW! Cost is $20 per person or January Special: Buy a 4 pack for $72. **subject to limited availability, only 300 tickets**  Purchase tickets Mondays in January in the school lobby from 2:50pm - 5:30pm or via student folders and/or mail. Gift Cards through Sargent PDF Print E-mail

We are expanding our Scrip program to run year-round.  Buy your gift cards through Sargent, and we receive a portion of each sale.  We are moving to an electronic order form which allows us to offer gift cards from over 300 merchants.  Now, you are able to download the order form from Sargent's website at:

Simply complete the order form in Excel, e-mail it to sargentscrip@hotmail.com, and send your check to school in an envelope marked "Sargent Scrip - PTO".  Orders must be received by the 15th of each month, and will be distributed around the end of the month.  Please direct any questions to Kristi Hale at sargentscrip@hotmail.com.
 
KNIGHT LIGHTS PDF Print E-mail
Sunday January 25th from 4 to 7 PM.  This new town-wide celebration of art will benefit the North Andover Schools Enrichment Council (K-8 Enrichment Programs in Schools), Residents will light luminary bags, create designs with those lights, and illuminate a wintry night! To get involved, buy some bags and light up the night.  Bags will be available for purchase at Ace Hardware, Sense of Wonder and Stachey’s Pizza.  Students will also be selling the bags from January 4th to the 23rd. A kit containing 10 luminary bags, 10 candles, and complete instructions for safe use costs $10.  Prizes will be given to the student selling the most bags, including Policeperson for the day, Fireperson for the day, and a Party for 10 at local amusement centers.  Top Adult sellers get Dinner for 4 at Burtons or a Summer Fun Membership.  More information will come home with the children in backpacks.  For information contact Kristen Hollenbeck, NASEC, at 978-681-1894 or vinter145@aol.com

Father/Daughter Dance Ticket Sales PDF Print E-mail
The 4th and 5th grade Father/Daughter dance will be on January 24th from 7-10 and the 2nd and 3rd grade Father/Daughter dance will be on February 7th from 6:30-9:30. 
Tickets will be on sale for both dances on December 13th from 10-2 at the Middle School cafeteria. Please enter the cafeteria through the side door of the building. If you are facing the Middle School, the door is on the left side of the building. Do not go through the main entrance. Tickets are $25.00 per couple.

has partnered with www.zipgoesgreen.com to raise money for the 5th grade activities.  Zip goes green is a go green company providing planet friendly products The products available on ZipGoesGreen.com are printed with the North Andover zip code and the accompanying “goes green” tagline. They have agreed to directly donate 25% of all sales ordered through their website to the 5th grade committee. To take advantage of this please go to www.zipgoesgreen.com at the top you will see a drop down menu to find the Annie L. Sargent school.  You will be able to see all the products with the zip code 01845.   They have also provided us with t-shirts at a large discount that we will be selling at the bookfair and other events with the Go Green logo for $8.00
