Recommended Summer Reading List 2019 for Students Entering Grades K-5

posted May 28, 2019, 9:26 AM by Hillary Stasonis

We are shooting for the moon this summer with our reading goals as we team up with the public library for our Summer Reading Theme, “A Universe of Stories!” The books on this list are just suggestions! There are NO specific required titles for kids to read. Feel free to choose appropriate books for your unique reader. When deciding on books, have your child read a page out loud to see if it’s a good fit. If they struggle with more than a few words, it’s probably too difficult and may be a better choice for a read-aloud.

Dismissal Form 2018-2019

posted Aug 30, 2018, 7:09 PM by Joe Clarke

Hey Hey Hey, Franklin Families! Below, I have attached a copy of the Dismissal Form for you to fill out and send in with your child on the first day of school. This form enables us to know how to send your child home safely. If at any point throughout the year you need to change the dismissal plan for a day or two, please send in a handwritten note to your child's teacher that morning (emails may not be seen during the school day) alerting him/her of the change for the day. If your plan is changing permanently though, please fill out the form and send it in to your child's teacher again. Thanks for your cooperation!
