Parent Volunteers Needed

posted Nov 14, 2019, 10:41 AM by Debra Conti   [ updated Feb 3, 2020, 9:36 AM ]

PICC, the Planning and Information for College Committee is a volunteer group of parents who assist the NAHS Guidance Dept. in the planning and execution of college related events throughout the year.  Without the volunteer efforts of PICC, many of these events would not be possible.

This year, we have several current PICC volunteers who will not be returning next year as their children will be graduating in June.  We are looking for new volunteers to assist with the planning of our college related events.

Our next major event requiring MANY volunteers to make it successful is SCHOLARSHIP KNIGHT FOR SENIORS, scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, June 3, 2020 during senior week. The event is for seniors who have applied and been awarded local area scholarships. They are recognized at a reception and ceremony in their honor.  Scholarship recipients are invited to the awards ceremony not knowing which scholarship they will be receiving. Donors are invited to present the scholarships to them. It is one of the most beautiful and eagerly anticipated events of the year. If you are interested in helping with Scholarship Knight this year, please contact Dianne Stevens at or Debbie Conti at
