UPDATE FOR JUNIORS REQUIRING BUSSING 2018-2019

Hello Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

I was able to meet with the Transportation Office to get a clarification on the requirements and timing of bus passes for those junior families that may now require bussing for transportation.

The timing for the final seniors to register for a permit and the potential lottery for juniors has not changed since my previous message. The information is listed below:

On Tuesday 9/4 and Wednesday 9/5, SENIORS ONLY may purchase passes during their lunch in the Main Office from Mr. Young and/or Ms. Randall. There is no penalty for registering during second or third lunch on a particular day. Spots will be assigned at the end of the day or a lottery will take place if we go over the allotted spaces on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Any necessary Senior parking lotteries will take place at the end of the day on Tuesday 9/4 or Wednesday 9/5.

If spots remain after Tuesday 9/4, we will start taking parking information from juniors on Wednesday 9/5 and Thursday 9/6 during their lunch block in the Main Office.

When purchasing or signing up for your pass, please bring the completed application, a copy of your drivers license, registration and check payable to NAHS in the amount of $40. Juniors will not need the check to sign up on Wednesday or Thursday if necessary. They would need the check if selected from the lottery.

Any necessary Junior parking lottery will take place at the end of the day on Friday 9/7.

Any junior that planned to drive to school but does not yet know if they have a parking space can purchase a bus pass at the early rate of $330. Payment will be held in the Transportation Office until Friday, September 21st. This will allow time for juniors that may acquire parking via a potential lottery to cancel their bus pass. The Transportation Office is no longer offering refunds for bussing. Any checks still in hand after Friday, September 21st will be processed. Please call or email the Transportation Office prior to September 21st if you wish to cancel bussing.
