Medication Policy Medications (both prescription and over-the-counter drugs) should not be taken during school hours if it is possible to achieve the medical regimen at home. If medications must be taken during the school day, please contact the school nurse for the appropriate forms or download the forms below. Your child should not come to school on narcotic medication for pain management as these medications may cause dizziness, light headedness, and sedation which make it difficult for your child to function safely and effectively in school.
