Congratulations to 3Q-Ms. Quaden’s class for raising the most money for “Pennies for Patients.” 3Q celebrated with a free pizza party donated by Domino’s Pizza. During the 2008-2009 school year, more than 12 million students from 25,000 schools nationwide worked together to bring hope to lives touched by blood cancer by participating in Pennies for Patients. And what a difference they made—students raised $20 million to help fund lifesaving cancer research! Congratulation to all of 3Q on a job well done.
Thomson Academic and Arts Night is divided into Grade level sessions of 45 minutes each, to give parents and students time to share academics, music and art. With the exception of Kindergarten all grades will end session with music performance in the gym. We ask that your child come dressed in black (bottom-pants, skirt…) and white (top). Please make sure your child is in their classroom at least 5 minutes before music performance. Kindergarten students need to be here by 5:50 with a stuffed dog. Forth graders need to bring a book and recorder. It is important that your child attends this evening; they have worked hard all year long and are proud to share their accomplishments and perform for you.

North Andover Historical Society Membership Drive
To the Families of North Andover School Children
We need you!
Most of your children will participate in programs by the North Andover Historical Society during their school days. Whether making butter in second grade at the Johnson Cottage, experiencing a one-room schoolhouse in third grade or playing house detective at the Parson Barnard House in fourth grade, we strive to bring local history to life.
We are a privately supported, non-profit organization and offer our programs to North Andover school children below our cost. We need community support now more than ever to enable us to update our exhibits and to repair and maintain our buildings.
You can help by becoming a member today. Family memberships are only $30 and allow free visits to our museums as well as discounts to our school vacation workshops and programs for children. For more information, please visit our website, www.northandoverhistoricalsociety.org or call 978-686-4035.
