5th Grade Committee invites you to join us for our last fundraiser at Fuddruckers on Tuesday June 2 from 5-8 p.m.
LOST AND FOUND: Our lost and found is HUGE this year. We have lots of coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves and lunch boxes!!! There are North Face jackets, L.L. Bean jackets, Lands End jackets, L.L. Bean lunch boxes and team sweatshirts. Please take inventory of your child’s clothes or come by and check out our lost and found to see what you are missing. At the end of the year anything left over is donated. Thank you.
There is a Thomson Family looking to acquire a used computer. If you have a computer that is in working condition and would like to donate it to a needy family please contact Diane Camire at dianecamire@hotmail.com or 978-689-3742. Please be sure to clean the hard drive of all your personal information.

PTO Meeting...the next PTO meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 pm...this will be the last meeting of the year! We will be voting on next year’s PTO Board. Please attend and cast your vote!

Award-Winning Storyteller To Visit Thomson - Students at Thomson will watch an award-winning storyteller perform music and tell stories on June 3rd. The show, which is sponsored by the North Andover Schools Enrichment council, features Odds Bodkin, a multi-voiced character actor and instrumentalist. Odds begins his show with beautiful harp music, setting a calm and mystical atmosphere, then proceeds to tell three multicultural stories accompanied by guitars, harp, drums, an Indian sitar, and other instruments. 5th Grade Parents: The NAMS PTAC looks forward to welcoming you in the fall. You will be amazed how quickly the three years at the middle school will go by. PTAC has many opportunities for volunteering and sign-up sheets will be out during the information night on June 8th. Several committees are also in need of a co-chair and we welcome talking to anyone those interested in taking on that role. Training and support provided! Chess Club – Wednesday, June 3rd will be the last Chess Club for this year. What a great
time learning chess and having fun! A big thank you to Katrin Schneck for overseeing this program. We will certainly miss her next year.

The Kittredge School is hosting an outdoor yard and craft sale at their great location on the corner of Main Street and Route 125 on June 13th from 9:00 to noon. Open to yard salers, crafters and vendors.

“A Glimpse of Europe” Open House
Rolling Ridge Retreat, North Andover MA

Meet local artists painting and creating art or take your own photos in a beautiful pastoral setting. Participate in art activities for kids and view artwork at a public reception, 2-3 pm. The North Andover Schools' Enrichment Council (a non-profit volunteer group that funds art, music and science performances in the schools) is seeking several key volunteers for the 2009-2010 calendar year. "The Treble Chorus of New England" is a local 30 years old non-profit organization with an amazing mission: to teach children ages 6 through 18, how to sing magnificently!
This choral group focuses on classic and fine music. The children meet for rehearsals and prepare for choral shows and Operas, that they will present throughout the year, most of them at the Rogers Center for the Arts, here at Merrimack College.
The Treble Chorus of New England is currently auditioning children to join their amazing choral group during the month of June (next auditions dates are: June 1st and June 24th; call the office for details) for the next calendar year 2009-2010. If your child is passionate about music, TCNE is the place for them to grow their musical/choral skills. North Andover Soccer – There are spots available on fall 2009 U10 and U11 girls MAPLE teams with local training and a National “D” License / National Youth License coach, volunteer-driven.
