Drop Off and Dismissal Notices

Office Information: Please fill out and return the emergency card as soon as possible. Also, remember to call in any absences. We have a 24-hour answering machine.

Drop-off Notice: Please be aware that children arriving to school by car should be dropped off at the back entrance to the school on Saltonstall Street. The teachers are on duty at this door until 8:20 AM. We ask that children arrive to school between 8:00 AM and 8:15 AM. Promptly at 8:15 all the students say the Pledge of Allegiance and sing our happy birthday song to any child who is celebrating a birthday. It is important that all students have the opportunity to participate in this daily routine. During inclement weather or when the temperature is below 20 degrees, the students will gather in the gymnasium before school. The kindergarten students will gather in the cafeteria.

Dismissal Notice: All students have an established plan for getting home at the end of the school day. Any changes to their dismissal plan must be put in writing and given to the classroom teacher.
