  • School Assignments will be posted to PowerSchool on August 21st.

  • On August 9th, Governor Healey signed the state's FY24 budget, which includes universal free school meals for public school students across Massachusetts for the entire school year and makes universal free school meals a permanent program. For more information please visit the NAPS Food Services Website

  • Parents are encouraged to complete the meal application online to check eligibility for free & reduced rates for NAPS programming such as Transportation, Athletics and Community Programs. Applications are also available in the main office of each school.  In addition, Comcast is again offering their Internet Essentials program, which provides families of children eligible for free and reduced lunch with access to low cost internet service.

  • All returning students have been assigned a Chromebook and charger for which they are responsible. More detailed information on technology and support can be found here.

  • Please be sure to check the North Andover Public Schools Website often for updated district information as well as our monthly newsletter- the Knightly News. You can also follow me on X, formerly known as Twitter, at @NASupt. Watch for the next edition of Knightly News coming on September 15!

The School Department had a busy summer preparing for the upcoming school year. There were a number of new staff hired including teachers, teaching assistants, custodians, administrators, and food services personnel along with many Professional Development offerings for staff. The district welcomed Ms. Pamela Lathrop to the Leadership team.  She is the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning, replacing Lorene Marx, who has retired.

Our school building projects are on schedule as part of Facilities Master Plan II. Recently, the MSBA approved Kittredge School for a feasibility study and we will break ground on the Middle School addition/renovation that will take place in the next few weeks. We will be communicating more information about the NAMS project as it moves forward, especially as it pertains to the impact on the logistics around pick up and drop off.

We all look forward to welcoming your family back to our schools on August 30th.  I hope you enjoy the remaining days of summer.
