NWEA Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Family info
North Andover Public Schools administers the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth™ test from NWEA® to students in grades k-8. The MAP Growth assessments are given three (3) times during the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. MAP Growth scores help teachers check student performance by measuring achievement and growth. Teachers use results to tailor classroom lessons and set goals for students. A Family Report will be sent home following each testing period which shows a summary of a student's achievement and growth results. The following resources are available to learn more about the assessment and the Family Report.
The Family Guide to MAP Growth is a quick resource introducing the assessment process and how the data will be used to support learning.
